Cork Gaskets and Sheeting Materials

We have a range of cork sheeting products available which offer a good choice for the manufacture of gaskets for low bolt pressure applications. The general temperature range is -20⁰C to +120⁰C offering good flexibility and material resilience. The two main products, made with rubber granules ensuring improved characteristics over un-bonded alternatives, are listed below

Neoprene Bonded Cork – Has good oil resistance, is relatively cheap and seals well at low pressures. Used in electrical, oil and general engineering applications.

Nitrile Bonded Cork – A firm rubber bonded cork material and generally gives good oil and fuel resistance offering good flexibility and resilience

Felt Gaskets and Sheeting Materials

We offer a range of Pressed Wool and Engineering Felts covering a range of density’s and thicknesses capable of withstanding a temperature range of -80⁰C to + 200⁰C

Paper Gaskets and Sheeting Materials

Flexoid paper is supplied in rolls or as cut gaskets to any shape or size and in a range of thicknesses. It is suitable for mineral oils, hydrocarbons and cold water but it is not suitable for acids and steam. With a temperature range y=up to 120⁰C it is available in 1 metre wide rolls and thicknesses of 0.25, 0.5, 0.8 and 1.0mm
